I don't enjoy reading from my smart phone, and I have a large screen. Personally, I rather not treat my phone as a reading device. Unfortunately, I will hit the Amazon app if stuck somewhere without proper reading gear. A reader always read!!

I can read on my phone if I'm just catching a small window of time to read, but if I'm going to be reading for a while I prefer my Kindle paperwhite. It's front lit so it doesn't bother my eyes as much. And luckily I can switch between them if I want and it just syncs to my farthest page.

Reading on my kindle app of my iPhone has been a great way to fill in the moments when waiting, standing in line, filling my teaching lunch breaks with some books for people my own age, and when I can't wait to finish a story!

I find that my attention span isn't all that great on my phone (possibly because there are tons of other apps on it :P). I've only read a friend's novel on my phone before and that was because it was sent via e-mail.

I do not like reading on my phone. It's too small and requires too much scrolling.

Visually, I find it easy to do and I enjoy it anywhere and everywhere. The only issue I find with it is that i get interrupted by alerts and messages on my phone. Although the alerts are on the background, knowing they are there is like having someone screaming in my ear and I can concentrate. :tiphat:

I like reading on my phone. When I am out it allows me to able to read and not bother anyone else. It is small and easy to handle especially if you are on the bus or other crowded space. I don't have to worry about dropping a book and trying to pick it up or elbowing someone trying to turn a page. It is not a book but it works.

I believe reading on phones can be a great way to kill time and is also convenient (if you have a good-sized phone.

I do find reading on my phone easier than on my tablet and more portable but I still prefer a book I think. I love to read cookbooks too! :D

Given the choice I would definitely read a book or my nook first, but I have the Nook app on my phone and will use it in a pinch. Since my progress is updated between the two I can easily pick up where I left off which is very handy!

I prefer reading an actual book. I love the feel of the pages and holding the book in my hands. I have never read a book off my phone or tablet though.

I often read books on my smartphone (5 inch screen). And I listen to audiobooks. And, of course, I love paper books.

I love reading on my phone. I have been for about 6 years. I don't have to keep a light on that will disturb my husband or kids. I don't loose my spot when I fall asleep reading. I also like being able to find and read free books on Amazon or iTunes. I would recommend having good posture though. I have gotten some really bad kinks in my neck from reading sideways in a recliner for too long.
