My phone is where I have my kindle and nook apo. I is convient and easy to use. I find this a lot easier to read on than a laptop. It is easy to carry and is always with your if you are like me...I have my phone with me all the time. I can keep my books with me
at all times.

I've got the Kobo app downloaded on my phone because my Kobo ereader gave out and I had books that I bought that I wanted to read. I read every once in a while on my phone, but not often. The main reason is because the screen's small and I'm used to it being bigger on my ereader.

On the smartphone I listen to audiobooks. Long read - uncomfortable. But finding a good audiobook - is not easy.

Been there. Done that. More times than you could think of. It's pretty cool actually. Mobile and convenient. One thing I hate most was that your phone starts to heat up dramatically, urging and begging you to let it cool down. Other than that, Im easy going with both ebooks or paperbacks. Both serves to convey a single purpose - To allow the readers to immerse themselves in the fantasy land.

I definitely would prefer to read books or on my e-reader but I do like having the option of reading on my phone. Whenever I'm someplace else or I'm bored and I don't have any books with me it's nice to be able to pull out my phone and just read. My phone is always there with me so it is very convenient.

I have been going back and forth on this subject for some time now. I love the convenience of being able to have my books on my phone or tablet and being able to get a book when I need it is great. I however have to have the hardback copies of some of my favorite series. Nothing seems to beat that feeling in your hand of the book.

I use the Kindle app on my phone. I prefer the Kindle over the phone strictly due to size but my phone gets the job done. I like that the Kindle app saves my page and when I pull up the same book on my kindle, it jumps to the last page I was on with the app.

I prefer feeling the turn of pages with a book in my hands to reading on a phone. The phone' slighting over a prolonged amount of time tends to hurt my eyes, or cause migraines. However, after having children, I have grown to appreciate the opportunity to read from an app on my phone while nursing. Holding a bulky book in one hand and a baby in the other is quite a challenge.

I've tried reading on my phone before, but I found that it was WAY too easy for me to either detour into a different activity, or to feel like I've made any progress at all. The print was far too small and I had to keep constantly moving, making it a lot more difficult to relax as I'm turning the page more.

I've been reading on Kindles for years, each year buying the latest Kindle. Then a few months ago as an experiment I tried reading on my phone. My idea was to read with it exclusively for one month and see how I liked it. That was a few months ago and I'm still reading on the phone. My Kindles just sit there.

I do find that I can't have the hours long continuous sessions on the phone. My eyes start watering too soon. But if I read for 15 or 20 minutes, take a break for a minute or two and then go back to reading I'm fine. And the advantage is that I always have it in my shirt pocket and I can read in places I never could before.

The result is that I'm reading more now than I did before and I like that.

I had a Kindle for a few years but I found I didn't use it nearly as much as I used the Kindle app. Once I got that app on my phone, the actual, physical Kindle was obsolete. I have my phone nearly everywhere with me so it was so nice and convenient to just pull it out and read a few pages. Whether it's waiting in line or over lunch, I use it daily.

I don't shy away from physical books though. I still love the experience of reading from an honest-to-goodness book but sometimes convenience out weighs preference. :)

I use Moon+ reader instead of the Kindle app. I buy all my books from Amazon but I convert them so I can use Moon+ reader.

There are several reasons I like it better than the Kindle app but the over-riding reason is that it scrolls. I just slide my finger up to scroll the amount I want. That was how I always read ebooks until I got the Kindle. Nearly all the Palm ereader apps scrolled.

I also like that I have more control over the fonts. I can make them darker without making them bigger and I can fine-tune their size and the line spacing and margins and even set paragraph spacing.

By the way it was the Fire Phone that made me try using a phone for reading. The Kindle app built into it does scroll and when they had the 32 gig one on sale for $60 I bought one and tried it out and I realized how much I'd missed scrolling. Then I tried Moon+ and liked that even better.

Oh yeah, another thing about Moon+, another favorite thing, is that it syncs through Dropbox. I can put one phone on the charger and read with the old one and it always syncs perfectly. Kindles do that too but not nearly this reliably and smoothly.

I love reading on my phone mostly when I'm not at home to use my kobo. Use to read all the time at work on my phone and I can get into the story just as well as I can using an eReader. . .in fact I have the free Kindle app I will be using for reading books to review now too! Very excited to get my first review in!!
