I have a kindle, and I have always loved it. I got it 3 years ago because I got an amazon gift card for Xmas. I'm thinking of upgrading to the paper white, I currently have the second gen kindle.

I don't because I tend to mark up pages with underlining, highlighting, stars in the margin, etc.

I have a Kindle. I chose it because I liked the way it looks with the glass face. I was thinking I should have gone with the nook because B & N has a wider range of magazines available, so I downloaded the nook app to my tablet, so I have the best of both now.

I have a Kindle which I won (first time I ever won anything). I wasn't sure if I would prefer reading a paperback or reading on the kindle but I like both. The kindle is easy to carry around, easy to use and easy to read on. Love having the book right away. I don't like that ebooks cost more than paperbacks though.

I have a nook and I had a kindle. My husband got us the kindle for a Christmas present about 3 years ago, and it just died on me in the past month. A year ago my husband got the nook and I have that full of books to read. I still use the kindle app to read the kindle books on Amazon. But I can do so much on the nook that I couldn't do on my kindle. The only difference that I saw from my kindle and my nook is that the kindle I had was easier to read outside. I loved having both and I still read hard cover and paperback books also. I like to go to garage sale to get my book and I get the free books from the nook and kindle sites.

I have a kindle and I am happy about it. I like it since I can be exposed to wider selection of books.

This month makes two years that I have had my Kindle Touch and I am still very happy with it and use it several days a week. Now I am thinking of getting either the new Paperwhite or the Kindle Fire HD 8.9" for the color, incredible sound, email and web surfing ability, but it is sooo hard to choose.Another reason that I chose the Kindle is because no one and I mean no one has better customer service than Amazon.

I have a Nook. It seemed like a simple model to use and I really enjoy using it. I chose it over the Kindle because it was a little bit cheaper and did virtually the same thing. I like using it when I am reading a very large book that I don't want to lug around everywhere with me, but other than that I prefer paperback.

I have an iPad which then allows me to have free Kindle, Nook and Kobo apps. I use kindle and Nook mostly and like them both. I am able to share books through my libraries with my daughters and friends. And I get lots of free library ebooks as well. It is the best of all worlds.

Nook I just liked the feel and the look of the nook a lot better than the Kindle. It seemed more user friendly and I was a Barnes and noble fan before I went to an e-reader

I own a Nook Simple Touch, and I love it. The E-Ink display mimics real paper and ink, which helps to reduce eye strain, unlike devices that have a backlit screen. I'm able to lose myself in my Nook as easily as I can in a printed book, which, at the end of the day, is most important. It's lightweight and compact, making it easy to fit in my purse. It can hold thousands of books, so if I finish the book I'm currently reading while on the train, I can instantly start in on another one.
There are a few downsides to any eReader, such as: difficulty in skimming through the book to quickly find a quote or passage, inability to lend the books to your friends and family (except for a select few that have this feature), and of course, not being able to have a physical copy to add to your pride-and-joy: your personal collection/library.
I like switching between reading my Nook and reading a physical book. The Nook's convenience is immense, but the feel , the smell, and the weight of an actual physical book are unbeatable.

I own a Kindle Paperwhite, and I love it to bits.
Even though it can't replicate the feeling of real books, it's real convenient and makes finding books less of a hassle.

I have a Nexus 7, which is an Android tablet. I prefer the Android option as it has apps for Kindle, Nook, Google, Sony - anything you want to use. I had started with the Sony reader before the Kindle came out, so I have alot of books already there.
