Emotobooks?

Post by Dengar »

Hey guys, I just had a question. If this is the wrong place I'm sorry, feel free to move it.

I was at a comic con this past weekend and I heard some people talking about "Emotobooks" Was wondering if any of you had heard about it or know what it was? It sounded interesting but I can't find any information about it. Apparently it's some sort of new medium of fiction for tablets and I would really like to get into it. Any help would be great guys!!

Thanx in advance

Just found your community also! can't wait to become apart of it and interact with you guys some more.

The term emotobook was conceived by GCP founder, Ron Gavalik, in 2011 to label our first exclusive tablet fiction medium, which heightens emotional awareness in stories.Emotobooks have a unique style and structure, unlike any other entertainment form. Abstract, emotionally provocative illustrations are tied into each story to depict what characters feel during peak moments of tension.

yea, it seems very interesting. I bought a copy of one of their titles. "Swing Zone" - So far it is pretty amazing. Great story and the art is very well done.

I don't know that genre. When I first read it, I thought it said "Emojibooks" and I was about to answer with emojis. Not anymore..
