For similar reasons, basic e-ink readers are often much cheaper than backlit devices and full-blown tablets. Of course, with the latter you usually get what you pay for, a device that is much more than a mere ereader.

Me too. I haven't had any issues with my Kindle, but it would be nice to have something with a keyboard or touchscreen instead of just the 5-way. That thing just gets tedious.Winter wrote:I'm hoping to buy a newer Kindle at some point, but I'm waiting until money is a little less tight.
