Would you buy an e-reader with physical pages?

I realize that this idea might be a little ahead of the technology we have now, but I think it would be cool to have a reader that was shaped like a real book, but only had one page. And when you flip the page, the material goes back from the left to the right, (Without messing up the words that you're reading) so that you can turn the page again.
Would you consider using such an invention, or would it be too much of a hassle?

Me personally, No I wouldn't.

But as I have said on these pages before, I wouldn't buy a kindle, nook etc either - for me, I love having everything on one portable device and therefore am quite happy reading on my ipad.

I don't really get what you are saying about page turning though - my ipad touch screen turns the pages much like that; the page appears to turn a new leaf, like a paper page would.

not sure what an ereader with physical pages could look like. for me the real book smell and touch is what I love and with my ereader it is the fact I can carry so many books with me that I love

I like my kindle just the way it is and see no need for changes. I would give it a try though.

Fascinating idea, can't imagine it but then I couldn't imagine the Kindle until I had one in my hand.

I don't think I would buy an ebook reader like that. I would probably break that one page and then it wouldn't work!
I like my kindle the way it is.

I don't like the Kindle because the pages take too long to switch. I think the device you're talking about would take even longer.

Someone needs to make an ereader with a book type cover that displays the current book you're reading.

It would be easy enough to do, but people would immediately realize that the cover display was vulnerable and get a cover for it -- which would defeat the purpose, unless you could find a transparent cover for it.

My answer would be probably not, even if there was some way to implement it, which at the moment I'm having a hard time imagining.
