Personally, I would say I got to learn the importance of planning for the future especially knowing how uncertain the future might be. A lot of people usually live the moment forgetting to put plans in place for their retirement. This is a very valuable lesson I must say, especially for young adults.

At some time, we need to take a break and let our minds rest, and, of course, that includes retirement. I kinda agree with this.

I think what I learned from reading this book is chasing after a job that we are passionate about and would enjoy.
Many books can inform you but there's only one that can transform you(The Holy Bible). Pls don't forget to drop a comment for this review. Thanks. :D :tiphat:

I agree that the retirement shouldn't be the end of our career journeys. As the author explained from the first chapters, the traditional system of working hard, saving hard and then retire is not realistic anymore. I love the book, it is very much inspiring and I believe it should get more exposure out there; everyone should learn about reconfigurement and apply this to their lives.

The future is unpredictable, but it is also inevitable. Instead of sitting back and letting things play out as they ultimately will, we should at least have a plan in place for reference.

I think plotting a valid strategy and plan is very paramount and vital, it goes a long way to ensure you have fun even at an old age when ur strength is fading. Aside from this, I learned a whole lot from this amazing piece.

Planning for the future is what stood out for me.
Financial planning is important because it allows you to make the most of your assets, and helps ensure you meet your future goals.

The greatest lesson I picked from this book is to be intentional about our future plans and not to leave it to chance as this is the only guarantee to our happiness.

I learnt that waiting for retirement so you can enjoy life is foolish. You should enjoy your life and then after retirement save as much as you can because you won't be having any other income.

I think this book helped me to realize the importance of working towards my retirement even now that I am in active service.

The greatest lesson for me is the concept of balance: it's important to plan for your retirement, be realistic about what retirement should mean and try to have fun in the meantime.

I learnt that an overwhelming majority of people don't actively plan for their retirement and its something we should all think about a lot more than we do.

I think for me the book out into perspective the importance of finding a job that you like instead of slaving away at a job you can barely stand. I found the statistic regarding how many people hated their job heartbreaking.

Planning in advance while hopping for the worst should be our goal not while thinking that everything will work out just the way you thought it would be. Pension dies not cover all expenses at an old age so planning is certainly necessary :tiphat:
