The greatest lesson I learned from this book was simply to make a plan for the future now. The author stated that too many people wait until right before they retire to start planning. This was eye opening, and I plan on starting to think ahead more now.

It's quite appalling how we work hard most of our lives and then get little via retirement. This book makes me understand that while working towards retirement, one should plan for better alternatives to making money

One of the most valuable lessons I took away from this wonderful book was the need of planning as I get ready for my post-retirement life. This is because a lack of planning could lead to several challenges after retirement.

I discovered the importance of planning each stage of life. I also discovered that, in large part, how we construct the future in the present will decide the kind of life a person has in the future.

This book taught me that people should start early with their retirement preparation. Furthermore, there won't be any problems if the retirement is well prepared for.

I learned that making plans is very important in life. As one progresses in a particular job nearing retirement, It is important to have some plans already. This goes for other aspects of life.

I think the topic of retirement and self-employment is a pretty indulging topic. The author did a fine job in writing a book of this calibre.

I learned that proper planning and decision making can make life interesting even after the retirement. And also that choosing the job you like the most can make life more satisfying.

I learned a lot from this book because I read it as someone much younger than the target audience. However, what stood out to me the most was the way the author broke down how much someone makes in their lifetime. At the end of the 2nd chapter, he says that someone earning 75,000 a year without getting a raise will earn over 2 million by the time they reach 65. It's something I've never thought of in totality because we normally just think of annual salary. Very thought-provoking about how much we can save if we just plan ahead.

As the saying goes, if you fail to plan, you plan to fail. For one to succeed in retirement, such a person will have to start planning now.

I learned that having a plan will not lessen your personality, it will even make you more prepared for what the future holds. According to the author, most of his client relies on their pension and 401k and they don't pre-plan their retirement, which caused so many problems.

I learned that I really am not prepared for my future in terms of retirement and its going to take a lot more work than I thought to achieve the retirement settings that I desire.

The greatest lesson I learned from this book is that I am never helpless, no matter how bad things get. I learned that with the right mindset, I have the power to read any signs to my own advantage.

This is very true. The future is determined by the things we do today. Hence, there is the need to do the right thing today, yes today; for tomorrow may be too late.
