It is very difficult for a single person to stop corruption in an organization. Steve tried and got various duty punishments and including beating. He was made to understand that you either join them it keep your head down. Even those cops who were not corrupt, kept advising him.

In my opinion it's pretty hard for a single person to bring all the changes but it is worth a shot. If you're dedicated enough to your cause and you implement your plans properly then change is inevitable.

I don't think one person can stop corruption in an organization. However, one person can exposure the truth and others, especially those in leadership, can assist in making the change.

I don't think it's possible. It doesn't matter how dedicated you are to changing it, I simply find it impossible. Keep in mind you will be competing with everyone else who is benefitting from the corruption.

I do not believe that a single person can stop the corruption in an organization (call me pessimistic if you will). At least not while being a low-ranking employee. In Steve's case, he was smart enough to know the right track to follow and was persistent and dedicated to it. He also knew the right people to hand over the evidence to.
Same way, a person could pull it off but, with an extraordinary amount of good fortune and intelligence on their side.
A single person can however, be the one who starts a revolution, a rebellion that opposes the corruption

I don't think a single person can stop corruption in an organization. Although steve tried to do the right things and follow protocols at work, all his efforts were defeated and it takes one with strong will and determination to do what he did.

Since his life was threatened, I think he should have left. Moreover, it us not impossible for a single man to stop corruption on that scale. It is just hard. It depends on what position that man is occupying too.

Can one person stop corruption? I don't know. I hope so though. Because if that is possible, I will like to volunteer and put myself out there to stop it. I don't think the person should just leave such an organization because his life and job is being threatened though. It's part of the sacrifice.

I think corruption is not meant to be ended. It worth only to point at it. And lessen it as much as possible. It is so worthy to leave that battle early, without forgetting it. The corruption will not end.

I dont believe that one person could possibly change how a well established organization can work, but I do believe that the one person who is passionate enough can bring other (more powerful) people into their cause that can lead to the stopping of corruption in an organization.

One person can not stop corruption in an organization singlehandedly except placed in a higher position. His influence can make others stop corruption.

It is pretty hard to do I must say, but if he/she has the right approach and support of a few good fellows then he can really make a change.

I believed that Steve's situation is more the exception than the norm. In reality a lot of systems are well coordinated and the possibility of a single person changing it would be too difficult. Then again this was in the 1970s, nowadays things are way more sophisticated.

I think a single person can stop corruption if they try hard enough. It may kill them, but at least, they will die fighting. So, that person should not dream of leaving because he is overwhelmed. Someone has to fight.

They can try, but it is going to take a lot from them. It won't be a flower path. There are only 3 outcomes: they are joined the corruption, they stop the corruption, or they give up and run far far away.
