The government doesn't even care for the kids, they just use them as soldiers that can be used to fight their unnecessary wars. and what better choice than young adults who have not yet fully realized how bad and corrupt the world is? surely mature adults won't go to fight for them because they know the reality by now. this needs to be stopped asap. if they really have to fight wars, send the people at the uppermost level to fight from each country. then you'll see how quickly the war subsides, although maybe not by good means, the issue will be swept under the rug nonetheless. In my opinion, a war is just a power play of showing who's the most powerful.

Drafting out kids for war? That is completely off the hook. It makes no sense to subject children to such acts. If I have the power, I would like to change that.

If I had the power to do so I would 100% end the drafting of children for war. We should not have children fighting any battles for us, no matter who they are and what we are fighting for. Children need to be able to make their own decisions and form their own opinions; pushing them into fighting a war for one side will most likely "brainwash" them into thinking one way and leave very little room for making and forming other opinions/thoughts.

This must end. The governments try to draft kids for war by brainwashing them, since it is in the government’s interest but it plays havoc with their young minds. It is absolute brutality on the government’s part.

If you had the power, would you end this menace? Or do you find reasons with the government for drafting young kids for war?
Definitely, if I had the power, I would end the menace of drafting kids to war. But I also understand that governments sometimes do not have choice but to draft children to war. An example is when their is a huge crisis, like when there aren't enough soldiers or when most of them have already died at the war. Whether drafted or not, there is already a high chance of dying.

I would absolutely end this if I had the chance. Why should the kids have to pay for decisions that have absolutely nothing to do with them nor did they have any influence over.

I think the government should create programs on international peace-building strategies and environmental protection. Instead of drafting kids for war, the government should motivate the young population to join these programs. It is a peaceful way of protecting and serving the nation.

Drafting kids for war is a terrible decision. And if a kid drafted fir a war manages to survive, he it she will suffer mental and psychological problems. This is hell

Definitely I would be bringing an end to this menace as their is no justifiable reason to expose children to such level of trauma by drafting them for war.

Kids are not to be drafted for war; it is a costly error that is far from all rationality. And if I could be opportune and have the power to end it, I'll go for it.

This is a bizarre idea. Children are viewed as future leaders. Drafting them for war is the same as robbing them of their future. Their chances of survival are slim. I believe that before being drafted, a person should be at least 23 years old.

I would do anything in my power to not allow kids to be drafted. Kids should not be sent to die.

Drafting kids for war, in my opinion, is blatantly inhumane. I will end the menace if I had the power to.

I don't think kids should be drafted for war. They are too young to face the brutalities of wars.

But what if a child of seventeen feels patriotic enough to want to defend his country? What should we do?
