I do not have a Nook and to tell you the truth, I am so confused with all the different types out there. I plan to buy an e-reader next month and have been looking at the Nook's. I just want one for simple reading and I can read it in the dark. Any idea's on which one would be good for me?

I have the Nook HD+. It's good, but I wish the image quality was better.

Looks like I am pretty late in adding to this conversation, but I have the simple Nook reader, touch. I am planing on buying a kindle also. I have thought about tables, but I'm not sure I need that much portable technology, my cell phone also has a reader but I'm getting to old to read that small screen

I have the original nook first edition with wifi and I loved it so much I upgraded to the nook tablet (Nook HD +). I loved the first edition nook but like many others I loved to read in bed and there was no backlight. The nook tablet has the back light and I can do everything on it!! The battery lasts forever when reading books! I even have the kindle app so I can lend books to friends with the kindle fire. And I get a whole new library between the kindle store and the nook store. My only complaint is that my nook tablet gets overheated sometimes and shuts down completely... maybe that's just because I never put it down.

I have a nook color!! I love it. It was a graduation gift from my parents. Very fitting, since they know how much I love to read.

I don't have a nook or a kindle, I just downloaded the apps on my smart phone. I found both to be user friendly, so I wanted to thank everyone for the information that was provided. I'll definitely be keeping this in mind when I get ready to make a purchase.

I have the Nook Tablet but I sometimes use my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 when I'm not near my Nook.

I have a first edition nook. I got it when they first came out at Barnes and noble and I am obsessed. I take it everywhere with me and when I don't have it in my purse it feels weird. Also really like the free samples of books you can get on there.

I don't currently have a nook and with so many different types on the market it's hard to tell straight off which is best. Thinking of getting 1 at Xmas. Does anyone out there with a nook, miss actually having a paper book there in your hands?

My husband got me the Nook SimpleTouch for Christmas, and I wouldn't trade it for anything! I wouldn't have minded the reading light, but if I need light, I just use the app on my phone and I'm good!

I have a Nook Color, I absolutely love it! I use it all the time, and so far haven't had any issues with it. I've had it since it first was released and am very happy with the purchase.
