What did you think of Louis' parents' role in his treatment?

Louis's parents played a massive role in his treatment. They are the sole reason he survived that horrendous illness. The commitment and dedication that they showed towards the whole process was impeccable. From mundane tasks as just journalling, you could see how seriously they took the situation.

I think the major credit goes to Louis' parents because of the dedication and spirit they had throughout the journey! They never gave up, no matter how hard the challenge was, and it is not easy, according to me, to maintain your ground when you can see your child suffering right before your eyes! So yes, I think Louis' parents were a major source of strength, even for Louis himself!

Lou's parents took the initiative to find out all that they could about their son's disease and his treatment. I believe that it was with their help that their son survived. Although all parents love their children, some would only sit back and follow the plan that the doctors told them to follow. You must ask questions and be an advocate in the situation.

Louis's parents played a crucial role in his treatment. They did everything they could to find out about the disease and what can be done to cure it. I think he survived because of them only.

His parents were instrumental in ensuring that Louis got the best treatment possible. They left no stone unturned in terms of his treatment. They were the best advocates for him.

Louis' parents were strong. I give them that. They were organized, focused, and they did well to manage their negative feelings. They even carried Harry along. He didn't sound like he was left out given all the attention his younger brother required.

Mark and Mary Ellen Unger's role in Louis's treatment extended beyond the personal realm, as their advocacy and involvement in research contributed to significant advancements in neuroblastoma treatment. Their story highlights the importance of parental involvement, advocacy, and the unwavering belief in a child's potential for recovery.

They played the main roles. They’d never have know it not for Louis mom. He’s never have survived. That’s my perspective, my two cents.

They basically played the main roles in this case, of course no one will discredit the practitioners, but it's amazing that they were strong enough to not just sit back and let life happen to Louis but rather they took charge as best as they could and thankfully it all worked out in the end.

A respected and significant role in his treatment journey and also in his psychology. Despite the difficulties and painful situation, they were able to be his best support system.

The dedication of these parents was fundamental, in this and all cases of success, the basis is the perseverance and correct management of the parents or representatives, fighting with the mentality of: we overcome it or we overcome it! It is essential, not to give up, to keep going, to look for options, to look for the means.

A perfect couple who showed what true love is really about--their actions spoke volumes of their mission to save their loved child. They were unstoppable and in sync all the time; this was a beautiful lesson of love, hope, and determination.

The parents of Louis took the initiative to learn everything they could about the illness and course of therapy for their kid. I think their son lived because of their assistance. Even though all parents adore their kids, some would just sit back and do as the physicians said. You have to advocate for yourself and raise inquiries.

There is no doubt about the crucial role played by Mark and Mary Ellen in Lou's treatment. Be it the close monitroing needed after chemotherapy or making extensive notes about the treatment procedure and learning the complex medical terms or ensuring best treatment for their son they leave no stone unturned to fight the monstrous disease and be a pillar of strength for Louis.
