Notification emails?

I have the boxed checked to "Notify me when a reply is posted" but I never get an email, I was just wondering if it's malfunctioning or something or what's up with it?

Check your profile. I think it sends a message by email and there is a checkbox for that.

Now, for some reason, even when I don't check the notifies, I still get them. >.<

yea, not there either. Maybe it's because for some reason on my profile where I have my email entered when I hit submit to save it knocks the m off the end of .com

You need to un-check the threads you're getting messages from. I had the same case, I was getting notifications from the threads I wrote in before I checked that I don't want to. Then I un-checked these specific threads and it solved the problem.
