SOS- moderator please help

I have been reporting that I never received a specific book to review for months. Whenever I check back in, it stills says I am reviewing it. I tried to post for help 7/3, and no one responded. I need someone/anyone to help me correct this.

Once you choose the option to say the book has not been received, an email is sent to the author/publisher to tell them to not bother sending it if they have not sent it already. Once another week goes by, you should be able to select the option that you still have not received it and would like to review a different book. If this is not the case, then there is an error in the software that I will need to fix. Please let me know. If there is such an error, as much information regarding what you see and what happens step-by-step would be appreciated.

No,it is not working. Glad you responded, because I had nearly given up hope of getting this issue resolved. I have been choosing the option to mark it as never received for months. Each time I wait and log back in to check at a later date, it is not cleared up. The same book and options show, as if I had done nothing. Every time I chose the never received option again, it gives me the confirmation. All to no avail.

Log in to the Reviewers page
Says I am currently reviewing a book
I select the never received option
It gives me a confirmation
I log back in another day, and the same screens/options.

perhaps the author did not choose to pay for a review hence the mix up. I am having a similar problem. Can a moderator get back to me on this?

Yes, I have since found an error in the software and corrected it. However, the error I found and corrected shouldn't have caused you to get a confirmation but rather an error page when trying to select that you never received the book. If you are getting a confirmation of the change but then the change is not happening that would seem to be some other error I do not know about. I have taken a look but cannot find anything. I have made some adjustments to provide more error-gathering data and automatically catch errors on that script. Please try again and let me know what happens.
