Is there any way to tell which of your reviews are pending?

It should say which reviews are pending in the list of your review history.

I did see a note next to my list of books reviewed that the author will not post my review. So if yours says pending your waiting for the author to accept your review.

Not exactly.

Some reviews will never be published per author request. But those shouldn't be counted as pending, just as unpublished.

Pending reviews are either reviews that are still waiting to be published and/or paid, which generally means they are waiting for me to edit them and publish them or for the author/publisher to confirm that the book was actually read by the reviewer.
