My Review for THE ANGEL IN LA

Post by gaden1 »

Hi Scott,

I sent you a message earlier, not sure you received it. My book was given a 3 star rating; however I haven't seen the entire review as of yet. My book has a 5 star rating on Amazon with a total of 28 reviews. I am somewhat skeptical about the reviewer if she gave me a 3 star. This is a powerful book on alcoholism and how I recovered from this devastating disease.

Will I be notified before it is made public? Because I certainly do NOT want it to go on Amazon without my approval. Thank you for hearing me out and I look forward to hearing back from you.

Scott or anyone,

I've sent you a couple of messages. Please do not post my upcoming review for THE ANGEL IN LA on Amazon. If someone could please let me know how this works I would appreciate it. The reviewer gave it a 3 star and I am skeptical of her review although I haven't seen it in its entirety yet. I have 28 reviews on Amazon with a 5 star rating. I should've declined it in the beginning but I assumed it was going to be 4 star from the reviewer.

Can someone explain how I can get this review cancelled or what the next step is???
Thanks

The review wouldn't be posted on Amazon in any case and would be just published here on site. To cancel the review, you should send a personal message to Scott (which I understand you have already done) and/or wait for him to answer here.

Oh ok, thank you so much for explaining that !! In that case I wouldn't mind or care if it was posted only on this site. No one really explained that to me and it doesn't state it anywhere that I'm aware of. Thanks for clarifying that :) :)

Scott,

If you could still get back to me, this would be great. Sorry for all the messages.

The reviews are not posted on Amazon. I never saw a email from you using the contact form. I will check my PM inbox.

No problem Scott, thanks for getting back. I am somewhat interested in seeing her review of my book THE ANGEL IN LA, even though she gave it a 3 star. Do you know what the status is on my review?

No problem, Scott. I am somewhat interested in her review of my book THE ANGEL IN LA even though she gave it a 3-star. It is a book on recovery from alcoholism with a supernatural element, and has high reviews on Amazon. But as you know, everyone has their own perspective. Can you tell me if it is a positive review, and what the status is now?

You will get to see the review either way. The question is whether it will be published publicly or only delivered to you privately. The reviews are not delivered privately prior to the decision of whether to publish them because a huge priority in the review team system is integrity. So while premium authors such as yourself have the option to choose at the beginning of the process to have a low-rated review not published based simply on its rating; it is not possible to allow you to see the review and then decide whether to publish it or not, as that would in effect give authors editorial influence over our reviews. I understand you are excited to see your review either way. I will contact you privately about the matter so we can resolve it quickly.

Scott,

My mistake, the review was fantastic and we'll articulated by the reviewer!! Even though she gave me a 3 star I would still like it to be posted publicly, if you can do that, or choose to. I apologize for wavering my wavering, I just didn't know how it all worked. Thanks.

I am sorry it is not possible to view a review before deciding whether or not to publish it. What I can probably do is have a higher-level reviewer review the book from scratch. Please contact me privately about additional options.
