The memoir humorously explores the myths and beliefs of Muslim culture, particularly through the author's childhood experiences in Pakistan. Despite addressing serious themes like minority community insecurities in America, the author maintains an entertaining tone, encouraging readers to form a positive opinion of the book.

The narrative was enriched with occasional moments of humor, adding a delightful touch, in my opinion. This infusion of lightheartedness made the reading experience all the more enjoyable.

Yes, indeed I liked the humor in the book which clearly depicted how immigrant were perceived by another country and the cultural shock too.

I think the only humour part I found in the book was when the author seemed clueless at times while getting used to the new culture he was being exposed to as well as his reactions.

Although not all the areas were exactly humorous, I would some parts were funny to read.

Yes. Ali's idea of America was hilarious at certain moments. Hi perceptions of Texas was so funny and I could easily relate to it.

HI!

I found that certain parts in the book were funny such as the incident with the vending machine. Otherwise, the author focused on the life lessons of the immigrant Ali.
