I didn't finish reading the book, but I love it. It is more than I expected, it is the author's story but it is also the story of so many. I can relate to some of the challenges, expectations, and culture shock.

This book exceeded my expectations! It is not the typical type of book I would choose, which is why I chose it, I'm trying to diversify my bookshelves. When I started reading it I couldn't stop. I read the book in 1.5 days and found it very engaging.

The book met my expectations, and I am happy to say that. My dream is to one day be an immigrant in the United States, and hearing successful people speak well about that land makes me elated. I want to be successful in that land in the future, especially in terms of business.

I haven't gotten a chance to peruse this book. However, based on other reviews I've read and the book cover, I think this book will live up to my expectations and be interesting.

This book exceeded my expectations in terms of its interest level. At first, I thought this would be a serious and dull read, as is often the case with books like this where authors talk about their struggles. The author managed to tell their story in a very engaging way, with touches of humour throughout.

"Beyond the Golden Door" exceeded my expectations. Despite initial concerns about a serious tone, the author captivated me from the start with an engaging, humorous recount of their immigrant journey. I typically form opinions early, but this book kept me thoroughly engrossed from beginning to end.

I honestly felt like the start of the book started slow, but the more I read the more it hooked me. I have honestly never read a book from the point of view of someone of a similar background as the author and found it interesting and at some point could not put it down.

I read this book without having a specific expectation but I'd say I gained a lot from reading it.
