Through Lea's experiences, the book explores themes of emotional growth, coping with loss, and finding inner strength during challenging times. These themes can resonate with young readers navigating their own emotions and life changes.

I learned the importance of reading meaning into conversations, even if they came from a younger person. I also understood that being a grown-up doesn't mean that you're right all the time. Old records are still records, and they still have their use.
