The COVID period was too scary. I will love to see the author's perspective on this and their recommendation towards taking the vaccine.

Having gone through questions raised about the book, I really want to read this book. Hopefully I will come with my questions to raise here.

As someone who struggles with believing in the authenticity of vaccines, especially after a doctor mentioned that my thyroid problem might have been caused by a vaccine, I'm cautious. I think I'll check out a sample of the book first to see how the author addresses this topic.

I have read the book, and now I can see how relatable the Covid experiences are in it. I learned so much about the vaccine and its complexities.

I have already read this book and my mind has been opened. Now I am more interested in understanding my body's immunity, something I have never considered before. Additionally, I am more skeptical about vaccines in general and not just the COVID-19 vaccines. Next time I will question a lot about a vaccine before accepting to be vaccinated. This is an enlightening read.

I am considering reading this but very unsure. If I read a health or controversial book, I research the author so I can understand their perspective. Dr. Huber is not a medical doctor and believes in only natural medicines. This typically creates a bias therefore her research was focused in one direction. I think it is healthy to read other perspectives, however, people that read books like these and do not do further research don't get the entire picture and not all the facts - this is how misinformation is spread. I love a good debate and I do get very interested in controversial topics and other's perspectives but I struggle when people refuse to understand proven facts because they are clouded by their own opinion and false information. How many others have looked further into the author before or after reading?

Marie Chalupová wrote: 26 Apr 2024, 16:53 I kind of want to yet I am not sure if it's the right book for me. There is such a division about the COVID vaccines. It's hard to know what is true. I would need hard proofs if I am to believe anything.
I agree with you. Many conspiracy theories raise questions for me, but none dare to prove them validly. At least, I need scientific arguments that prove the shortcomings of vaccines.
This is my opinion as well. I appreciate this question. Based on the summary and several reviews, this book comes off as very biased. I can understand hesitations around vaccination and am open to hearing additional viewpoints however, I also rely heavily on scientific evidence in forming opinions.
Your point regarding the author's bias is a big part of my concern reading this. She is against traditional medical treatment and feels only natural medicine should be used - even when it comes to cancer (baking soda, vitamin C, sugar-free diet, is how she feels it should be treated). She also isn't a medical doctor so I'm struggling reading this as though she is an expert in the field without scientific evidence (which I too rely on). Because of her opinion on natural medicine, she has a lot of false data regarding traditional medicine so I'm unsure of the accuracy in this book. I'm not trying to put the author down, but I do think it is important to understand the author when information is presented as fact.

Although I haven't yet read the book, I'm inclined to do so after reading the sample and relating to the subject matter, having personally experienced the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown while awaiting vaccines. I'm curious to know if your views on reading this book align with mine.

I don't usually choose books on COVID, but I'm curious about the author's take on vaccines, especially since a healthy family member of mine died after getting the shot. I haven't read this book yet, but after experiencing COVID-19 and the lockdown, I feel compelled to. What do you think?

After reading quite a few different opinions of the book, I've decided that I would definitely be interested in reading it. I would love to see exactly what the author is trying to convey through their writing.

This book was very interesting for me. I am a psychology major debating on moving to medicine, and such books always help me. I love anything that is well-explained and trustworthy.

Most health books turn me off, but given that COVID surprised everyone, I'm interested in what the author has to say about COVID and would definitely read it.

Since the time of COVID-19, there have been conspiracy theories about vaccines and how effective it is, some believe they contain the virus. I felt there was little knowledge of the Vaccines before then and we can all only conclude the little we know at the time since there isn't sufficient data to back it up. Since reading this book I am getting clear insights and data that were not present before are now available and discussed in the book, including those from government agencies.
