Did you receive the COVID-19 vaccine? Why?

I did receive the vaccine and was thankful for it. My family has some immunocompromised people in it. I work for an essential business. While they were sealed away during the pandemic, I didn't want to be the one to bring the virus home.
I haven't read the book to be able to understand the data the author presents, but my personal feelings were confusion over why some people would shun the vaccine, but try to get ivermectin or other over-the-counter medications with no research on effectivity, or data that backed up those medicine's ineffectiveness.

I did receive the COVID-19 vaccine at first, the first two and two boosters. However, I had to stop receiving them as after each vaccine, I would be in bed for five days. I had a high fever, nausea, body aches and stiffness, etc. It just didn't seem worth it to me to continue with them. So far, everyone in my family, including my spouse, has gotten COVID-19, some twice, and I have not.

Yes, I received it. During the pandemic, the virus spread like electricity, and people were dying across the world. In this panic situation, governments are providing COVID-19 3-dose vaccines to enhance immunity and prevent the virus. Thus, I and my family took all three doses of the vaccine periodically to protect our lives from that virus.

I did, as well as the boosters. And I did knowing that I had risk factors to get complications from the vaccine but I was working on a Covid-19 ward and I was also very aware of how covid was affecting people in very similar conditions (young, relatively healthy) than me. So I not only had it, but I would make the same decision again

We had to work with both confirmed COVID-infected individuals and those suspected of having the virus. Therefore, getting vaccinated was both necessary and mandatory. Despite being in contact with many patients and even performing PCR tests on them myself, I managed to avoid getting infected by COVID. I believe that the vaccine played a significant role in this. All of our family members were vaccinated, and none of them contracted the virus.

I didn't receive the vaccine because no one around got infected by the virus, and there was news of its disadvantages which I don't know how true or untrue that was. But I didn't receive the vaccine and also didn't t contracted COVID.

I got the first set of two when they came out because my FIL is in several high risk groups. He didn't end up getting the virus, though. My dad, however, who was in exceptional health contracted the disease twice and was in the hospital for several weeks. I haven't received any further shots and don't intend to.

It was an easy decision for me.
Getting the COVID-19 vaccine reduces severe illness and death, it curbs virus spread, and protects vulnerable populations. Achieving herd immunity through vaccination is essential for ending the pandemic and restoring normalcy, economic normalcy especially. by agreeing to get the vaccine, an individual contributes to a collective effort to safeguard public health and support global recovery.

I received it because I have other health issues and the specialists taking care of those asked me to get it. I knew people who had taken it and people who hadn't taken it and the ones who hadn't taken it, were very ill when they got COVID-19. I also know people who used Ivermectin, got COVID-19 and almost died. I haven't gone for booster shots and I don't think I will.

I didn't receive the Covid 19, because I isolated myself and didn't bother to check anything outside.

Yes, I got the shot. It was mandatory in my country.

I stopped getting vaccinated many years ago. From that time on I never got colds or sick regularly like before (when I was properly vaccinated). Especially in the times of cv19 I knew from the first moment that this would not be a good idea, nor a good option. Indeed, neither the people in my house nor I got that virus.

I did not receive the vaccine. That's probably because I didn't have any need to go out, especially on international trip. So, I was fine. I heard a lot during that period, though.
