I think I found the cover of Quest: Finding Freddie: Reflections from the Other Side by Thomas Richard Spradlin mostly bland and without any attraction, but hey, you cannot judge a book by its cover, yeah? The review drew me in, and so far, so good. I am enjoying it.

Because the book cover so well conveys the essence of the text, I found it to be quite engaging.

It might have been more appealing if it had elements like a compass or magnifying glass to suggest exploration or discovery.

I would not have chosen the book based only on the cover, but after reading what the book is about, I think the cover is amazing and ties well to the story.

Not to judge, the wallpaper 🖼️or the cover art is remarkable. I'm from Africa - Ghana🌍 and glad that the brightest star is pointing towards Nigeria🇳🇬 and Ghana🇬🇭. I haven't observed it but the look of the hot season of the Sahara☀️ and passing the equator is excellent to me. I appreciate it.

I think the cover art is appropriate for the story, but it isn’t particularly intriguing. I don’t think it’s one of the book’s best features.

What do you think could be the intriguing aspect of the book other than the cover art? What is your best feature after all? :techie-studyinggray:

I think the book itself is very enjoyable. I liked the mystery, humor, and the relationships he formed with the side characters. The cover is pretty generic and it’s ok, but it doesn’t really say anything about the book except where it takes place.

I think using the map the way it was used was a very clever way of making the cover. It was catchy and since Africa is such a mysterious continent with so many different types of cultures and people, it gave the book a mysterious vibe too.

I think the cover is interesting, but I don't think it would have piqued my interest enough to read the book

I think the cover art is perfect. I am a sucker for maps and it gives a rather "Indiana Jones"-esque vibe to it. I mean, who doesn't love a good explorer genre?

While the use of an African map on the book's cover is a bit generic, it does create a clear connection to the story and gives potential readers an indication of what the book might be about. Although the cover might not be the most unique or eye-catching, it still manages to intrigue and draw your attention.

I really liked the cover showing the map of Africa. It is very fitting for the book. I wish it was a little brighter, though. It might make it look more appealing.
