Insofar as the word 'should' even has meaning, then we must say that the past is exactly as it should be, everything that happened should have happened, and everything that should happen will happen

It had some moments of humor, but overall wasn't particularly humorous. I think some of the banter between the characters was mildly humorous, but also a bit cliche. There was perhaps one character who had a more humorous vibe.

The book takes a more serious and dramatic tone, dealing with themes like survival, moral dilemmas, and a magical war between humans and demons. While there may be moments of lightness or wit, humor doesn't seem to be a central aspect of the story. The novel is more likely to appeal to readers looking for a thrilling and immersive fantasy adventure rather than those seeking a humorous read.

The book was not a humorous book, generally. It was more serious and focused on the adventure and survival aspects. The little bants here and there were welcome but I don't think that was enough to make me call this a humorous book.
As long as there is a concept of victors, the vanquished will always exist.

Not really, it does focus on humor. Instead, it is a more serious, emotionally charged, and action-driven narrative. The story dives deep into the struggles of the protagonist, Spirit, as he faces moral dilemmas, underground fighting, and the complexities of a larger war between humans and demons. The tone seems more intense and dramatic rather than light-hearted or comedic. While there might be moments of wit, the focus is clearly on tension, conflict, and character development.

There were definitely some aspects of humour, but this was mainly focused on the interactions between the group outside of any challenge. There were lovely moments of lightheartedness when they were all in Emily's hospital room, and also when Spirit and Taya were in the forest.

I didn't find it humorous. The novel's serious and dramatic tone focuses on intense themes like survival, moral dilemmas, and magical war, making it a gripping fantasy adventure rather than a humorous read.

I won’t say it was very humorous; but in some parts it was indeed humorous and I enjoyed those parts too. Overall it was more of a thrilling read with pinches of humour I would say.

It is both humorous and breathtaking. It exposes the reader to the hidden part of the heart of people.

I did like the covert humor. A bit of lightheartedness gives the book a complete feel.
