I love the way the plot was arranged. Actions came in at the right time. The arrangement was perfect. I also like how the book started.

I just liked the overall story line and plot. It was captivating, and I couldn't have enough of the book. The book is enjoyable to read, and I liked how the crises were sufficient enough to keep me flipping the pages.

I appreciated how loyal Spirit was to Emily. He spent his whole life fighting to keep her safe and alive.

I appreciated the amount of world building there was. From the cannibal fights to the Vanguard trials, each aspect of the world was fully explained.

I truly like to see, especially in fantasy books, that the author takes the times to explain and show us the world that a character is living in. It helps me as a reader visualize what's going on and helps me immerself myself in the book.
I completely agree about the world building. This was definitely a strength of the the book.

The book was really enjoyable, especially because of the strong sibling connection between Emily and Spirit. The perspective from the demons' point of view was an interesting twist that added depth to the story, making me consider the grey areas between good and evil. The magical plot revolving around the struggle to save humanity, combined with elements of humor and an unpredictable storyline, made the book all the more engaging.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book for several reasons. The sibling connection between Emily and Spirit was particularly touching. Additionally, the multiple perspectives, including those of the demons, added a fascinating layer to the story, making me see the good and bad in shades of grey rather than just black and white.

What stood out the most to me about "Demonslayer" by Ian P. Eviston was the deep character development and the dynamic interactions within Spirit's squad. The way each character evolves and the complex relationships they build make the story emotionally engaging. Additionally, the political intrigue among the demons adds an extra layer of excitement and complexity, making the plot more intriguing. The vivid and evocative writing style also brought the world and characters to life in a compelling way.

I appreciated the personable stories, caring nature of Spirit, humor of Zix, and sympathetic archdemons. But disliked battle scenes but enjoyed the plot's magic, unpredictability, sibling connection, and perspective on good and evil. Overall, the Book effects were positive and engaging.

I think my favourite things would be the dual perspective, the fact that the author at times took me by surprise, and then the fact that there is a bit of humor here and there. I enjoyed this book, and those are my top three qualities in that order.
