I thoroughly enjoyed this book. One aspect I loved was the sibling bond between Emily and Spirit; I appreciated how they seemed willing to do whatever was necessary for each other. Additionally, I liked that the novel offered perspectives from both the protagonists and the demons, which encouraged me to think more deeply about their viewpoints and see the good and bad as more of a grey area rather than simply black and white.

The caring nature of Spirit, Zix's humor, and the sympathetic sides of some archdemons stood out to me. Despite not being a fan of battle scenes, the other elements kept me engaged and made the story enjoyable.

Well, it is hard to specify only one most favorite aspect of the book. But still if I have to choose one then I would say that what I liked most about this book was the immersive world-building and the unique magic system. The detailed mythology and history between humans and demons added depth to the story. I also enjoyed the multiple perspectives, especially from the demons, which made the characters more complex and relatable. It was really very intriguing for me.

What I liked the most about Demonslayer was the well-rounded characters and the immersive world-building. I particularly enjoyed the caring relationship between Spirit and his sister Emily, which added emotional depth to the story. The humor brought by Zix and the sympathetic portrayal of some archdemons also enriched the narrative. Additionally, the magic system and the exploration of both good and evil perspectives kept the plot engaging and thought-provoking. So, it is not easy to decide one particular aspect which I liked the most but still I have shared it.

I found great joy in the book due to the powerful bond shared between Emily and Spirit as siblings. The way the story talked about the perspectives of both the protagonists and demons touched my heart, prompting me to reflect on the complexities of morality beyond simple distinctions of good and bad.

I very much liked the bond between Spirit and his sister Emily, this is one of the most touching aspects of Demonslayer. Their relationship adds an emotional layer to the story, making Spirit’s motivations all the more compelling. This deep connection helps to humanize Spirit and provides a poignant contrast to the larger, more fantastical elements of the narrative.

I loved the balance between action and character development. The fight scenes were intense and vividly described, making me feel like I was right there with Spirit. At the same time, the quieter moments—especially those between Spirit and Emily—added emotional weight to the story. I also appreciated the world-building; the magical system and the human-demon war were well thought out, adding depth to the narrative. The stakes felt real, and the pacing kept me engaged throughout.
