It definitely met my expectations. The book is such an exciting saga, it’s not just good versus evil, but a story of magic, family, battle, and very much in ‘The Lord Of The Rings’ tradition. I like the nuances of personality with the Archdemons.

Demonslayer by Ian P. Eviston exceeded my expectations. The world-building was immersive, with rich mythology and complex histories between humans and demons. The magic system was fascinating, and the found family element added depth to the story. I appreciated the multiple POVs, especially the inclusion of demon perspectives, which added layers to the characters. While the numerous POVs could be confusing, the overall narrative was compelling. The writing style was engaging, and the themes of loyalty and sacrifice were well-explored. This book is a must-read for fantasy fans looking for action, magic, and strong characters.

I am half-way through the book and am already impressed. The complexity of the interaction between humans and demons is very interesting. So far, the characters are authentic, their reactions justifiable. The world-building is immersive and detailed. I am enjoying the mystical feeling of the narrative. I am sure it'll meet my expectations once I finish reading it.

It exceeded my expectations. When it came to the battles, the progress of the new Vanguard recruits shows how resilient and how they worked together despite their differences. Alone, with their inexperience, they would not have been capable of fighting against the demons. The bittersweet ending might cause a motivation change for Spirit in the sequels, The character development, details of the settings, and creative inclusion of artificial intelligence and robotics was remarkable.

"Demonslayer by Ian P. Eviston totally blew me away. The world-building sucked me right in with its deep mythology and intricate histories between humans and demons. The magic system was super cool, and I loved how the found family aspect added so much depth to the story. Getting different points of view, especially from the demons, made the characters really interesting. It could get a bit confusing with all the different perspectives, but overall, the story kept me hooked. The writing style was engaging, and it dove into themes like loyalty and sacrifice really well. If you're into fantasy with action, magic, and strong characters, this book is a must-read."

I have to say that I was disappointed by the damons because I found them too human, so they quickly became mundane in my eyes. I mean, they're physically different, otherwise, a human faction capable of absorbing aether would have changed nothing if used instead of damons.

Though they asked question about the satisfaction of the story, you have entirely captured the things that were more important element in this book and also recommended to the ideal readers. That's great.

You may think demons as human since they are basically human. You have a point but it's not easy to describe the demons in finite words in the book. Since we have seen demons from movies and shows, it may not be appeal as a scary demon in books.

I cannot quite tell if I had huge expectations, but I expected it to just be a good read worth the time. It turned out to be. So, I can say it met that expectation. From the characters to the themes to the delivery, tone, and what have you. The author delivered a masterpiece. I loved the multiple points of view.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I started reading “Demonslayer” by Ian P. Eviston, it was a relatively longer novel and sometimes there pace can be a bit slow and difficult to get into reading. However this book exceeded my expectations! I ended up reading it in one sitting as I found it hard to put the book down. The fantasy world was well explained and thus was easy to picture as well. The characters were all unique and each had substantial character growth in my opinion. The story had plenty of twists and turns each of which was relevant to the story and not just there for the drama. This book definitely beat my expectations and I can’t wait to read the following novels in this series!
