Character development seemed to me the book's strong point, so yes, I say they were sufficiently developed. Actually, I expect even more development in the sequel(s), considering the coming-of-age element of the series.

I believe the characters were exceptionally well-developed. Their backstories were interwoven into the story without impeding the pace and it gave a deep view into why they act and think the way they do.

There is so much going on, that it’s difficult to say whether the characters matured/changed and developed to suit the changes, as would happen in real life. I think, apart from some archdemons, their characters stayed mostly the same, although I felt a maturing in Emily.

The characters were well-developed, with their backstories seamlessly woven into the story. This integration provided a deep understanding of their actions and thoughts without slowing the pace.

I would definitely say that the character growth was on point for each of the characters. Each has their own learning curve and grow as a person and as a demonslayer I believe. It will be interesting to see how the author deepens their personalities even more in the upcoming novels !

Yes. I believe the characters in this book were developed. The story takes their past and adds to how they make their choices.

I believe that the characters were well-developed, and the fact that their backstories were interwoven into the storyline made it all the more so.

I felt that there were various archdemons that developed well, and a few on the ‘good’ side. I don’t think Spirit matured too much, but, there again, the story developed at a galloping rate and they simply adapted to the ever changing environment.

All the characters did justice to their various role so the character development is top notch.

I think the characters were fully developed. I thought they all fit into the story perfectly and I enjoyed learning about each of their backgrounds.

I especially liked the character development of the book, and I think it's what makes the book great. The relations and connection among characters are well written.

Also, their emotions and actions were easy to understand and relate to. I think the author did an amazing job in concern to this, and I did not see anything to criticize about the characterization.
