What I liked most about "Demonslayer" by Ian P. Eviston is its rich character development and intricate world-building. The novel effectively blends action with thought-provoking themes of loyalty and sacrifice, while the addition of other perspectives, like those of demons, adds complexity and nuance to the story.

It’s one of those everlasting, timeless and epic types of young people’s books that will never go out of fashion. It’s similar in this way to ‘the Lord of the Rings’ and the Harry Potter books. It’s an adventure of good over evil yet sometimes never as simple as that, with recognisable characters with very human everyday traits.

I found Demonslayer to be an incredibly exciting read. The characters are thoughtfully crafted and relatable, making it easy to connect with their struggles and journeys. What truly sets the book apart are its deeper themes of family, power, and morality. These elements enrich the storyline, adding layers of meaning and emotional depth.

I liked the character development the most. Each character's backstory, inner thoughts, strengths, flaws, and progress was detailed in a way that I found the it easy to understand what they were going through in every pivotal moment.
