I always prefer a dark background as it brings out the subject much more, especially in this book of dark magic and suspense. The smoke is more easily seen against the dark as is the ‘fluorescence’ of the box. It all seems more mysterious.

I think the dark background allows the box to pop more to create a better contrast.

I completely agree. I think the darker cover also fits better with the general mood and tone of the book.

In my opinion, the one that was actually used is better because the background color makes it more suitable to the fantasy genre than the "minimalistic" version. Also, you can see the cube and something mysterious coming out of it much better.

I think the second cover is better because of the colors used. The first one isn't bad, but it feels incomplete. The themes of the book are better captured in the cover used.

I prefer the new cover, although have to recognise that the previous one gives it some personality and makes it different to the average book.

The first is better for me because it has a dark color which best describes the content of the book because of the fighting scenes.

Of course, the one with the dark background which is enhancing the cover page and providing the storyline a dark nature touch.

In my own perspective, I'll will go for the second cover, it has a brighter color and is quite attractive.

I don’t know that I prefer one over the other. They both have their selling points to different audiences. For example, some people will enjoy the simplicity and clean lines of the first cover. The second one, while also simple, has more detail to draw the eye of the reader.

Obviously the new one ... As the name of book sound demon slayer. For study a book mere simple cover not a good fit but the other one shows perfectly mysterious nature and intimidating

The new cover is better. The previous cover looks like a rough draft, practice, self-published type of cover and not a finished product.

I prefer the dark cover more as it brings out the image of the object and the words. I also get more mystery vibes from the dark cover, making it all the more appealing for me to read the book.

I prefer the white cover which gives the book a calm reflection contrary to the title of the book.
