Yes, the reviews did influence my decision to read the book, and I found them quite interesting. However, it was actually the title that drew me in—it felt inspiring, and that's what led me to give it a try. I thoroughly enjoyed it, as it highlighted some key points of the story. I appreciate the author for this wonderful work, and it's a book I would definitely recommend to others.

I did not read any reviews of this book before choosing it as the recent book of the month to read. I needed to pick one for the last few month and I wasn’t interested in the most recent religious book, as religious books don’t interest me. This one sounded more interesting to me after reading the description on Amazon.

I tend to avoid reviews of books I'm planning on reading because I don't want what other people think about the story to affect my enjoyment. So, no, the reviews of this book did not affect my decision to read it.

I don't allow people's decisions or opinions to affect my own so their reviews cannot influence my own.

Yes, but the cover and title drew my interest first and then when I read the review it really pushed my to go read the book.

No. The synopsis was enough to convince me to read the book. That and the cover of the book itself

I actually didn't read any reviews until after I read the book. It didn't affect me either way.

No it didn't. I just found the book on Amazon and the book cover was what attracted me the most.

Not necessarily. The cover and the blurb itself had be hooked already. However, I must admit that reading this review fully convinced me to add this book to my TBR list immediately. I'm not usually swayed by others' opinions, but I like reading them regardless to have a better idea of what to expect. Sometimes I'm positively surprised, and sometimes I'm a bit disappointed.

I was intrigued by the title. Overcoming adversity is always something to admire so I would have see what the book was about (and maybe I will read and review it later) regardless of what another review might say.

I don't know for others but after a certain period of my life before I watch any movie or read a book, I'll look for some reviews or ratings. I adapted this character after I spent a lot to get a series that I ended up hating. I tried so much to mange it because of what I've spent on it but I couldn't.

So, of course reviews of this book was what drove me into reading it. The title is nice, but I needed more, so the review filled in the gap.

Absolutely they did - I don't normally gravitate towards nonfiction unless someone recommends it to me. Most of the book of the month books on here tend to be genres that are out of my normal range so I always look at reviews to try and get a feel for them before diving in.

This was one of the books I read out of the blues without really checking public reviews of it. I didn't regret my decision tho. I loved it
