The author asserts that the prerequisites of love provide the reasons God allows evil. Do you agree? Why or why not?
The author structures his arguments around the counterintuitive assertion that love is the reason God allows evil. Specifically, he asserts that the five prerequisites of love explain why God allows the continuance of evil following the fall of man. In Part II of the book, the author uses these five prerequisites as the basis for his solution to the problem of evil. If you read Part II, do you agree with the author’s arguments? Why or why not?
