Insofar as the word 'should' even has meaning, then we must say that the past is exactly as it should be, everything that happened should have happened, and everything that should happen will happen

In Chloe The Clone, technology serves as both a life-saving tool and a source of ethical conflict. The cloning process, intended to provide a heart transplant for Sam Turner, results in the creation of Chloe, a sentient being. This development forces characters to confront the moral implications of using advanced technology for personal gain, highlighting the tension between scientific advancement and ethical responsibility.

In this book, the role of technology is limitless, as it is the yardstick upon which the story was created. Technology was used to complete the entire cloning process.

This seems like a typical case in which a technological advancement is used to discuss its consequences at the ethical and moral level.
