Who did you suspect of the murder early on? Why?

It was pretty obvious to me who the murderer was from the beginning. The foreshadowing was pretty obvious.

Early on in the book, I did not suspect anyone. I was still coming to grips with how there could be a connection between a murder at the nearby prison and a murder at the research facility.

I initially suspected that Griselda was somehow connected to the murder, but after the scene of Ladonna and Will at the bar, my suspicions were dispelled and my final suspicion was confirmed.

I suspected Ladona. From the first instance at the office,she was so caught up with Dr. Dunn and Frank argument.After the death of Dr.Dunn,I could not help but ask myself who dialed 911.Also the drama she pulled when Jeanie was inside the police car,appeared fake to me.

I wasn't sure who the murderer was at the start. I loved the inclusion of the poison in the botanical gardens and how it kept coming back to that. I thought it was a very clever murder weapon. When it jumped to the mention of Will delivering a 'package' though I knew immediately there was something dodgy there. Money and greed is also always a very motivating factor in these stories.

I kept waiting for the book to twist its way back to the scene in the Prologue. While I found the Prologue the best thing about this book, the foreshadowing destroyed the rest of the book for me.

The foreshadowing was very obvious as I read the book, but the author tried to throw readers off by having the coroner say that women are more likely than men to poison their victims. So, for a while, I assumed the culprit was one of the women. But then, when LaDonna received the phone call from the suspicious pharmaceutical representative, I started to suspect that it was him.

From early on I suspected it was LaDonna, even after she got poisoned, I thought she did it to herself. It's actually sad what happened to her.

I was appalled by the two police officers trying to get a clue. LOL. I did not have a clue myself! The scenes in the hospital with Will, I thought the murderer would be caught, but no, and then the police officer was tied to a chair, and the murderer walks out the door into the eye of the tornado! Oh my! What imagination!
