Reading the sample gave me a good idea of what to expect from Thin Places. I did enjoy the straight-forward approach in writing that the Author had progressed with. As expressed in the review, the story had a curious progression into the meeting of the most important characters. However, I was not fully captivated about upon first glance - but the book in all would be a wonderful read. Just not my personal taste, thank you so much for your Review.

Thank you for this review! A friendship with a death row inmate is surely unique. Tully had a lot of surprises waiting for him outside of prison, from his mother being diagnosed with cancer to his wife giving up on him, and I am eager to discover if he succeeds in granting his friend's dying wish!

I appreciate how the reviewer mentions that the book will affect each reader differently. This shows that the story has depth and complexity, allowing readers to form their own interpretations and connections. It's always exciting to dive into a book that leaves room for personal reflection and individual experiences.

I wouldn't read this book because the plot sounds too simple and predictable, and very similar to other stories which have more plot twists. It feels like it could be a story about a weak supporting character in a more developed, life-changing story. This story might be a first-attempt to write a book.

Sitting on death row for 20 years and then being executed cannot be easy. Calvery made one friend in jail and made this friend promise to look up his daughter. It was important to Calvary that his innocence be proven. There was also mention of a treasure. Calvery's daughter Chloe was barely making ends meet, running the fishing charter left to her by her father.

This is a great start to this book, and with all the twists and turns with drugs, smugglers and family involvement, it sounds like a really good read.

Thank you for the excellent review.

The review was detailed and thorough. I don't really feel that this story is my cup of tea . But with the order of events and the way of narration, this book may be interesting to many.

The intriguing plot of Thin Places revolves around Finn Tully, a former inmate, and Chloe, a determined woman caught in a desperate situation. I can't wait to unravel the secrets of this story.

Thanks for the free sample of Thin Places on Amazon. It is an intriguing novel, and I hope to read more of it than its sample. I liked the build-up of the story with its interesting twists and turns. Diane Owens Prettyman's work in the book is well crafted, covering exciting themes of trust, romance, faith, and friendship. The birth of an unexpected friendship between inmates in a cell and a promise to be fulfilled by one inmate Congratulations on BOTD!

This is a very informative review of what, from my sampling, seems a praiseworthy novel. I too feel that it deserves the top rating the reviewer awarded it. The sample about Calvery's last day of life and death row execution felt heart-wrenching once he mentioned that he was innocent, and I am glad to find from the review that there is more to expect from this book than the utter misery for Tully from this event.

Congrats on BOTD
The compelling story line of Thin Places centers on Chloe, a strong lady caught in dire circumstances, and Finn Tully, a former prisoner. the book's cover, which undoubtedly piqued interest. Although the review is quite complimentary, I do not think I would find this to be a particularly compelling story.
