My Favorite Author: Stephen King

Since I was little, my family loves movies. Especially scary movies. I remember we used to go out and rent movies at Blockbuster. My sister and I would get a movie for us and our parents got their choice. When we got home, it was peaceful. My sister and I would get the snacks and drinks for everyone while our parents got the pillows and blankets set up in the living room. We wouldn't argue about what we were going to watch. We just sat there and watched it. My life changed when I saw my first Stephen King movie. Rose Red. My mom saw the my fascination with Rose Red. She told me that Rose Red was actually a book before a movie. I'm pretty bummed because I never got to read the book, and read others by Stephen King. I guess I like the thrill and darkness in his books. The suspense that Stephen King puts into it just encourages me to keep reading and want to read more. He hasn't failed me yet. So far there hasn't been a book that I don't like. I can't say that I read them all because I haven't but I would love to read them.
