No but S.C. Stephens author of the thoughtless replied to my tweet and it felt so amazing so I can't imagine how meeting her in person would feel!

I used to regularly attend Book Expo America, sponsored by the ABA (American Booksellers Association) when I was working in the publishing business. It's great to meet your literary idols, but sometimes their personalities don't come through and the situation becomes a big letdown. Sometimes it's better to keep the mystery going.

I hear ya!............... once my local radio station was having my fave nutritionist on as a guest............

I called and begged them to let me meet him in person to autograph my book that he wrote...........

Imagine my shock when I saw him SMOKING  RIGHT THERE IN THE STUDIO........

I've met Karen Hopkins--author of the Temptation series. We lived in the same county, so we actually got to run into each other quite often. Other than that, I've talked with several authors online, but never had the opportunity to meet them in person.

Yes! Two authors. A few years ago I met Melissa de la Cruz and she signed my book. Of course, this was one of the best days of my life considering she's one of my favorite authors. And then last month there was a lady selling her book at my local bookstore. I decided it sounded good so I bought her book and she signed it and I got to talk with her for a bit

I actually met and visited the home of the astrologer who did "Sun Signs" (I forgot her name) in Laguna Hills when I was a teenager. Linda Goodman was her name...beautiful lady! I have also met Rhonda Byrne of the Secret, and Michael Bernard Beckwith!

Several but because they were work related meetings I wasn't able to ask about their books. I know all about their dogs though (I work in the dog care industry)
