So over the last month I've read his 4 major novels (Light in August, The Sound and the Fury, Absalom, Absalom!, and As I Lay Dying) and he is definitely my favorite author now, and TSATF is definitely my favorite book. Anybody read any of his other books and have any suggestions? I think I am going to check out The Reivers after I finish A Farewell to Arms.

How did you get through and understand the first two parts of 'The Sound and the Fury'??
I'm have to consult summaries and analyses on several different occasions to get the jist of it, I'm still on part two, Quentin's narrative, and trying to get through it without any help but finding it incredibly difficult to do.

I actually find it hard to get into and understand alot of the classic novels. 'A Farewell to Arms' I have tried to read but just couldn't get past page 30. Any advice on reading this kind of literature? I mainly read genre fiction but trying to get into the classics.
