It's hard to name a favorite as I love all her books. Finished the Extraordinary Museum of Magical Things last night, and this was no exception. Wonderful how she spun historic events into her fiction novel, I stopped a couple times to go research the actual events of the Triangle Shirtwaist factory fire. Her characters are brilliant, and I hate to finish her work.

I haven't read any of her recent works, but I remember enjoying reading Practical Magic and Turtle Moon.

I read the river king years ago. I loved it, though I have not read much else by her. I also tried practical magic, but haven't finished it yet.

I love Practical Magic and have read it several times. I even love the movie based on it. One of my favorites!

Wow what a throwback, I haven't read Hoffman in years. Totally going to check out her books again now. When I was reading her years ago my two favorites were Turtle Moon & Illumination Night.
