What question would you ask any character in an interview?

Hello, wondering if you were to interview a character in literature as if they were real people, what would you ask?

If I were to interview Lord Voldemort, I would have to make sure I could finish it, so I'd probably begin with, "Could you PLEASE not strike me with the killing curse?" If he said he couldn't be sure he wouldn't, I'd have a huge Teddy Bear next to me in case I needed something to hide behind. I think the one I saw at Goodwill a year ago would be perfect. He's serving life anyway for foul treatment of a rubber dinosaur.

Do you feel as if your job is done with each book or do you imagine it continuing?

I definitely imagine any book I read or any story I write continuing. When you write a character, their life doesn't seem to be finished even when you cut it off at the end... It's strange...

Hm, so many choices. I know! I'd ask Severus Snape why he became a Death Eater in the first place. I've always wondered! I don't think he's a Sadist, nor a Blood purist. I can't quite figure it out. I have ideas, but they are fanon-based. I want to know the real story.

I don't think she did. It's been forever since i read DH, but nothing comes to mind.

I have a long list of fictional characters I'd definitely ask "Will you marry me?" in an interview... I mean, if they aren't fictional, might as well...

Wow...so many options! I think my question would be for Scarlett O'Hara, just after Rhett Butler departs with his famous, "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn." As she sat there muttering to herself about "tomorrow is another day," I would barge in and scream, "What the hell are you doing? Get up and go after him!" Lol
