I'd like to be able to co-write with John Ringo because he got me hooked on SciFi. At time when I write I ask what would JR do?

Rick Riordan! He specialized in infusing mythology with children's literature and his ideas are fantastic. I especially love that he incorporates different races, albeit stereotypical in some cases - like the only Canadian being from Vancouver and being Chinese - but overall, I like the social message of acceptance he spreads to many young readers.

I would love to co-write with Christopher Paolini because I feel he could offer amazing insight into the fantasy genre. He is actually one of two authors who got me hooked on fantasy and at the same time also gave me the inspiration to start writing my own stories.

I'd love to work with Mike Carey actually. He's a great novelist and storyteller. It would be very interesting to learn how to write a graphic novel script as well.

I would love to co-write with Jennifer Armentrout. She's an awesome author and has a wild imagination. Her Lux series is in my top 3 favorites.

I have never thought about co-writting anything that was not of technichal nature (engineering books and such). I have a very personal way of thinking about my stories and scenarios. I am not sure I could start building a shared world or shared history without trying to strangle my partner.

I would love to co-write with Chuck Palahniuk. I like his dark comical humor that he interjects into every story. My favorite story would have to be "Guts." This story I literally cannot breath until I have read through the whole thing. I went to one of Chuck's readings and he had made himself a big trophy and had everyone take a picture with it just for fun.

Who actually would want to "co-write" with anyone? I can see the committee approach in screenwriting, but sharing the creative spirit in a novel? How can that possibly work? I envision the co-authors arguing for days over if Myk should wear fur boots or leather high heels! :D

I would NEVER co-author a novel with anyone and share that absolutely PERSONAL experience of creativity.

Patricia Cornwell, the amount of research she puts into her books is amazing. The truth of it all. I would really enjoy co-writing with her as long as we could co-research together.
