Review of Twelve Midnight
Twelve Midnight by Kewayne Wadley is a collection of meticulously woven poems showcasing the intricacies of love relationships. In each poem, the authors Kewayne, Eli Ray, and Jeremy Allen present emotional and intimate moments to illustrate how to nurture a relationship to achieve profound love and an unbreakable bond. The poems discussed several relationship aspects, like adapting to your partner's changing characters, acknowledging the simplest of heart-touching moments, giving your partner much-needed attention, and the beauty of a thriving relationship.
Poems titled "Hibachi for Two," "Gasoline," "Cure All," and "Few Pots and "Pans" immerse the reader in moments of reignition, companionship, sharing a beautiful day out, and healing or soothing moments that love creates. The authors cited instances that clearly illustrate how the above moments are experienced.
I will read this book repeatedly, as I loved how the authors used beautiful language to make the poems captivating. The authors used a style that holds the reader's attention by immersing them in moments of love in every poem. The poems underscore several aspects of love relationships that are sometimes ignored but matter most, for example, memories that come with house chores, as in the poem "Crumbs of You." By reading this book, I appreciate that love can make one vulnerable, and heal, and profound love reignites one from low moments, propelling them to higher levels.
I did not dislike any aspect of this book. The authors carefully crafted poems that showcase the beauty of love and how to appreciate each simple, small, and big moment we experience in relationships.
I give this book a 5 out of 5 star rating. This book was professionally and flawlessly edited, as I didn't encounter grammar errors. In reading this book, the reader is immersed in moments that describe all aspects of love, from joy, disagreement, danger, vulnerability, and changes. I recommend this book to poets and romanticists who wish to enjoy the beauty of poetry and love.
