Review of A Love Story between 2 Worlds
A Love Story Between 2 Worlds is a true story by Charlie Lord. This captivating autobiography spans decades, starting with Charlie's time as a college athlete. Charlie's spiritual journey alongside his college sweetheart, Peggy, is particularly interesting. The book takes an engaging and emotional look at Charlie's college days and his quest to understand the challenges in their relationship. Unfortunately, tragedy strikes Peggy, creating a compelling storyline filled with mystery, thrill, and heart-pounding suspense. This book will immerse you in a poignant but uplifting tale of loss and rediscovery. I encourage you to join Charlie on his journey, where past and present converge in a whirlwind of a story.
The book begins by introducing us to the world of baseball and the complexities of the game. We follow an enthusiastic pitcher as he prepares to compete against the Iola players and impress major baseball scouts. However, plans change, leading to new and exciting opportunities for the Topeka Aces players, courtesy of Leonard Worthington. Through Charlie's story, readers gain insights into the physical risks that baseball players face in their careers. I admired Charlie's commitment to sports, academics, and romance. Additionally, I appreciated his humor and his bond with his teammates, especially Danny Gans. Interestingly, the love for baseball created a deep connection between a cheerleader and a baseball player. The mystery of this unique bond is left for readers to explore.
There are several aspects of this book that I love. Firstly, the author's seamless integration of spirituality, sports, and romance elements is truly commendable. Secondly, the author's bold exploration of controversial topics such as telepathy, intuition, and visions adds a thought-provoking layer to the narrative. Thirdly, Charlie presents a captivating story that triggers a debate about existing in different lifetimes. Additionally, the inclusion of pictures enhances the book's appeal. The author also focuses on sports and explores Peggy's influence on his career and family life. The book's concise nature allows for multiple readings. Lastly, the book has a straightforward storyline, giving the reader a smooth reading experience.
The editing team did well; I encountered only a few typing errors. I found nothing to dislike about this book; therefore, it deserves a perfect rating. I rate this book five out of five stars because of the positive aspects mentioned above. I highly recommend this book to those who share a love for baseball and to spiritual seekers who are intrigued by the intertwining of sports and spirituality in Charlie's journey.
