The main characters in the story Sarah Armstrong and Hamilton Clouse overcome their conflicts and provide an excellent story in this holiday romance novel. The author Emily Walters does a great job with presenting characters who have an exciting time after a car accident provides the needed way for Sarah to get the scoop on the Hamilton family. When she arrives at the mansion, she finds more than just the story. There are characters that you will love and yes, some that you’ll hate. My favorite character in the story was Hamilton Clouse. He is a sweet talker Betty Crocker. My least favorite was Eva, girlfriend of Hamilton’s brother. She is one bad apple. I enjoyed this story because I love the Christmas season. I would love to see another story utilizing the same characters. I am sure that the Clouse family has more tales hidden away. Maybe on a different holiday. Like Valentine’s Day or Thanksgiving. The author improves her style with each story that she writes. Well written and a story that has a few hidden secrets. I rated this one 5 stars. I would love to read more by this talented author.
