Another great love story by Olivia West this one tells the story of skating star Hannah Avery and her skating partner Francis Miller. Hannah was a blissful hurricane on fragile ground, never intending to destroy what was around her, but instead using it as a canvas for art. Even though Hannah has a crush on Francis, who was her skating partner, he did not care as much for her. Francis wanted Hannah to work on a new move for an upcoming event. While skating in practice, she falls and breaks her leg. Dr. James informs Hannah that she may not be able to compete in upcoming events. The story is one of heartbreak and overcoming. It includes other characters who support the two main characters. Hannah’s best friend Anya and her coach Erica Summers. Anya gets Hannah a job with Meyers and Brown a law firm that she works for. I really enjoyed this story. The character that I liked best was Anya, even though she and Hannah often have their differences they remain best friends. True friends are hard to find. And harder to keep. The character that I liked least was Francis Miller. Because of his indifference towards Hannah. I thought the author Olivia West did an excellent job with showing the readers some of the emotions that professional skaters go through. Will Hannah’s dream of winning the U.S. Championship become a reality? Find out more about Andrew Mitcheson and what part he plays in the story. Well written. I rated this one 5 stars. I look forward to reading more books by this author.
