I read Blue Smoke by Nora Roberts and I really enjoyed reading this book. I loved reading how this warm loving family kept strong through hard times and the mystery and suspense was thrilling and I couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen next. This is a great book to read on vacation or just for fun!

I just wanted to say thanks for writing this review. I picked it up at the library right away and really enjoyed it. I did find it odd that a seemingly smart character didn't see any connection among the various fires that had affected people close to her, but hey - sometimes we all miss the obvious. I definitely recommend reading this one by Nora Roberts.

Thank you for your review! I also love Nora Roberts books, and this one is a true favorite. Reena is an amazing and very complex character. Have you seen the Lifetime movie they did about this book? It was the only one I felt that was straight out of the book and done right.

The Italian family are part of what makes this book a good one. There is a lot of fun and drama here that MS Roberts just seems to do so well when writing about large families. I may have to go re-read this one myself. I know I really loved it and had originally given it 5*s!!

Captivating review!! I can't believe I haven't read this one yet, as I have read most of her books. :)

This is not one of my favorites by this author. Somehow I found the behavior of the villain too scary and creepy. Also, Reena's character is a little too tough edged for me-she reminds me a lot of the Eve Dallas character from her J.D. Robb novels.
Interested in books that help one's spirit move beyond the ordinary.
