This sounds quite like a soap opera - like Days of Our Lives! I hope the heroine can live with the choice she makes. I don't think this will be in my reading list this year! Congratulations on a great review!

From reading the sample, I was also conflicted about if I liked the women or not. I don't really read romance or love triangles. I'm not sure Richard even knows he's in one. This just wasn't my flavor.

This sounds like a book with the common (and relatable) problems of “who do I love” and “am I ready for commitment?” Your review proposed the book as worth reading, while being realistic about its flaws. What I liked most about your review is how uplifting your criticism is. I like the way you paint the book in a positive way while leaving plenty of room for improvement. Great job!

Ritah , thanks for your very thorough review. I find myself agreeing with you on a lot of things. I only read the sample portion, yet I can see exactly how this story will play out. Personally, I was turned off shortly after I noticed that Alexis was entertaining the idea of this "JOE" character, who is trying his best to find a good and stable relationship. Alexis on other hand is mentally cheating n her fiance' and to me morals are very important and although this is a romance book, I cannot say that I approve of what has unfolded in the brief sample portion. If Stephanie, her best friend would have been the one chasing after this man I would understand because she is unattached, however Alexis knew how her fiance' Richard was and still decided that she wanted to marry him, expecting him to change just because they would be married is pure hogwash and very selfish. I will not be purchasing this book for my collection and I cannot say that I would recommend this book for myself. If you are a fan of the mess of romance, then by all means, this is most definitely the book for you.

This romantic story revolving around the relationships of two couples based purely on coincidence, their new love, and absolute commitment sounds fantastic. I´m not usually one to follow a romantic novel, but I like the intro of the book presented and I will buy the book as soon as possible.

Romance isn't my genre, and the interpersonal drama sounds like too much for me. But it sounds like fans of romance will enjoy it. Thanks for the review!

I don't think this is my kind of book. The female protagonist doesn't sound like a powerful character and because of this I'm sure to loose interest if I try this book. So, I don't think I'll be reading it. But, thanks for your great review.

Romance novels are not necessarily my cup of tea, but the plot undoubtedly sounds intriguing. Fans of the genre are sure to enjoy this book. Thanks for your wonderful review.

Knee jerk reaction when I saw the cover...curious but not that interested. Knee jerk reaction after reading the blurb...pass. The author didn't give me enough information to really gauge the book with and that left me disinterested. After reading your review I think that I'm going to pass on reading this book. I enjoy romance novels, but I don't like characters who stay in a situation in the hopes "that things will get better." Then to throw a tantrum because no one comes to save her in a situation she is fully capable of getting out of?! That just makes me disappointed that the author would take such a tact with the character. This is one book that I'm going to say "no thanks" to.

A well written review. I think the author must also write well if the reviewer got so bothered with the main character getting so much wrong and acting without logic or reason. The story certainly sounds true to reality, as people often do not respond with sound logic to their own situations. I am curious to read how the story ends now, I must admit. Will she leave her cold husband or not, I wonder? An interesting review.

Thanks for the review. The excerpt only showed Alexis as a strong character. Interesting that the author chose to make her more of a victim than a strong woman. Not my genre, but the review was well done.

I don't care for romance novels, so I don't think I will be reading this one. Still, it seems to have a bit more substance than the typical romance, and sounds like a worthwhile read for fans of the genre. Thank you for your review.

It's been over a year since this review, and it seems the book has gotten the makeover. The sample had no obvious grammar mishaps. I hope the Jimmy Choos made it safely, though.

I'm not into romance, usually, but I had fun with the sample. I'm curious to know whom Alexis will choose. Some women have all the luck!

I usually like romances, but somehow this one just didn’t draw me. I suspect it may be your comments about Alexis’s ‘damsel in distress’ act, which would irk me too! Thanks for the review; will probably give this one a miss.
