Sounds like a very interesting plot. I'd curious to know what Sue decides in the end!

Thanks for the review! I really think I'm going to get this book. At first I was ready to be like...pass but after reading a sample I found myself reading quite a bit. LOL! Looking forward to see where this story goes.

Based on the sample, I agree that Joe is a hard character to like, at least in the portion I read. Thanks for the review.

Interesting review. The main characters are very well summarized. I don't like the adultery part though, but then one thing led to the other. Too bad Joe didn't change. :(

I like romance novels, but Im not sure this one is for me. The sample didn't grab my interest, and with so many books on my shelf, i think I'll pass on this one for now. It seems too contrived to me. Thanks for the review.

thank you for your review. I like the part where you said that the husband is a character that you would advise a friend to stay away from. It speaks to your empathy and to character development

A summer romance? Tho it's fall, it seems apropos for end of summer! Wonder what is meant by "another summer"?
I find most romance novels stereotypical, but this seems promising. Thanks for an informative review!

Romances have a happy ending. That's the definition of a romance novel. Having your heroine return to a cheating liar does not qualify. I'll be giving this one a miss.

Another Summer has a steady pace that makes it easy to read without losing focus.

Love and romance! Well, this genre is not my typical narrative. But, from the review, Sue Lilley's story of Evie and Jake in Another Summer is insistently beckoning. The review runs, nice!

I just read the sample and found it hard to put down. Sounds like a good romance read with likeable and dislikable characters. Thanks for the review

I think on the whole that people don't change much, so having two people both change in the story makes it a little unbelievable. However, from a story point of view, this is probably just what the doctor ordered, and I think I'd like to read the whole thing to find out for myself. Thanks for the awesome review.
