Sounds like a charming book to read on a lazy Sunday. I love the fact that Clair's mother Mary concocted a plan to save the marriage. Thanks for a great review.

A Sea for Summer is an engaging, easy-to-read romance novel. I adored the setting, which was very atmospheric and immersive. The characters were well-developed and realistic, and the plot was fast-paced and interesting. I enjoyed reading about Claire's journey to self-discovery, and how she learned to stand up for herself and what she wanted. Peter's character arc was also fascinating, and I liked watching him grow and change throughout the story. Overall, this was a well-written and enjoyable book that I would recommend to any fan of romance novels.
