I'm not a huge romance reader as I prefer some action and comedy. Also, I can't stand any bit of smut in my books. However, this one sounds like it may be a cleaner book with some good banter. I'd definitely be willing to give this book a chance.

Romantic novels are not the type of books that you'll find on my bookshelf. So, I'll take a pass on this one. From the review, however, it appears that folks who enjoy this genre will be highly pleased with the story. Congrats to Ms. Wigginton on her achievement.

I have read two other books written by the author and I must say, I like her writing style. I am sure the romance in this book will not disappoint.

The book sounds interesting and great I would love to read about Catherine Lawrence as she navigates the uncharted waters of love while juggling her demanding job as a campaign manager.

I am super intrigued to read this book, thank you for the awesome review. Just as you said, I love the fact that she is independent and has a political job instead of being a damsel in distress like a lot of books do for the women. I am curious to find out if they work well together over just the physical connection and this book HAS to be added to my list!

This review paints a picture of a well-written book. Catherine the campaign manager and Jake the surfer are now neighbors. Opposites do attract! I appreciate that this book reveals the rigours of Catherine's career and shows that she is a career-woman first. As a rule, I am not a romance novel reader. But, I am tempted to read this book due to the information I gathered from this review. :techie-studyinggray:
