Rory's mother wants the best for her daughter. However, her method is not very appropriate. The cultural difference between Rory and Amir may constitute a clog in the wheel of their romance, coupled with the prohibition placed by the medical school. Despite the difficulties, I hope they can pull through in their relationship. Thanks for the review.

I have been reading medical series, it's kind of interesting and the plot of this book intertwines a prohibited medical romance with religion, culture, and family loyalty. The author L.B. Wells did an amazing job of writing this book and I want to read the book, "the white coat effect". Thanks for the review. 🫶🏻

I enjoy a good romantic novel and this book along with its medical background and context reminds mw of popular tv shows. I would enjoy reading the book. Thanks for the review!

I’m not really looking for a romance novel right now. However, this one does sound intriguing in its intertwining of religious and cultural conflicts with the forbidden romance element and medical setting. I’m sure that fans of romance novels will love it. Thank you for the helpful review.

Sounds like an amazing story! I’m interested in Rory and how she deals with her love affair. As someone from one of these cultures, I feel like I can relate to this one some level. Greta review!

Love and romance are difficult enough but when you add work, religion, personal & medical school distractions, that can make a really interesting story. What comes through clearly in the review of *The White Coat Effect* by L.B. Well are the conflicts of love and romance in the midst of busy daily work and family life. The self-doubts of the female main character pervade her every thought as she strives to ‘prove her mother wrong’ that she has worth and will make it in this world. Read this book, you will be cheering for the heroine too.
If you're going through hell, keep going.

This was a page turner. Not only does the story tickle your senses, but the characters are well developed and I felt I knew them intimately. Hot and interesting would be the best way to describe it. I'm not that familiar with the medical world but this makes me want to dig deeper! The White Coat Effect would make a great movie or TV show... I hope that happens!

When I first saw this book and its name, I did not want to read it but now that I have read that first intro, I am curious about what choices Rory will make and how these choices will effect her and Amir's relationship. I may not chose it for review but I will read it.

The cover puts ne off, so I immediately decided not to pick this book because I'm sure it's a romance. The medical jargons help the setting more realistic to readers who are in the medical field. However, the forbidden student- teacher relationship sounds cliché to me. Congratulations on the BOTD.

I love a well-written romance novel. I can already sense the drama that Rory and Amir will have to go through during their courtship. I hope love wins in this scenario because everyone deserves it.

This book made a lot of claims about being both educational and calming. I really like how this review presents the analysis of the book in great detail. Even though I'm not often a fan of romance novels, I'd like to give this a shot.

“The White Coat Effect” by L.B. Wells” is a story about a woman named Rory that chose to pursue a medical degree because her Jewish mother told her she did not inherit her mom’s beauty. As a resident she meets a fourth-year resident named Amir and she falls for him. Her Jewish heritage is incompatible with Amir’s religion and culture so will she forgo love or continue the relationship and earn her medical degree? This is quite a conundrum and one must read the book to learn what happens between Rory and Amir, their pursuit of medical degrees and how their families will handle their relationship. Good review.
